LAS VEGAS, NV (Autodesk University 2014 -The coolest new technology was from EON Reality, Inc. They specialize in augmented reality. They had a 10 ft "reality cube" with a 3D subversive reality roller coaster. Users wore 3D glasses, sat in a stationary chair (to avoid falling down), and went on a virtual roller coaster ride. The system costs approximately $250,000. This software also has the ability to transform a 2D still image into a 3D image that lets you roll the model around. This could be a great addition to any marketing team trying to better show the end customer what their product will look like, plus lots of gaming possibilities with this software.
