It's a huge mistake to think that Haas machines are state of the art. When Haas Automation in Oxnard, CA needs to do serious short run production in their own factory they use Mori Seiki CNC machines. I think Haas Automation use of Mori-Seiki state of the art CNC machines speaks volumes about what Haas machines are capable of. As most machining job shops grow they replace their Haas machines with state of the art CNC machines that can handle running 24/7/365 without wearing out like Haas CNC machines do.

Autodesk has no software of their own to program many state of the art CNC machines. HSMWorks is badly flawed CAM software that's developed very poorly.

Autodesk purchased Delcam for a reason. The reason is Delcam makes state of the art CADCAM software. It's long past time that Autodesk figure out a way combine Inventor with Delcam PowerSHAPE, PowerMill and Featurecam. Autodesk dealers should be allowed to sell any Delcam products that run inside of Inventor. Additionally, Autodesk should provide Delcam with help when it comes to user interface design for Delcam products that run inside of Inventor.
